Abstract Guidelines

  • Abstract should be presented as a single paragraph 
  • Abstract length should not exceed 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, IRB/IACUC approval number and acknowledgements)
  • Use Arial 12 font size  
  • Poster measurements: available space on the poster board is 4 feet (tall)  X 8 feet (wide), landscape-oriented.

Must also include:

  • Title (maximum of 150 characters, including spaces) 
  • Affiliations
  • Body of Abstract/Headings (Introduction, methods, results, and conclusion)
  • If applicable, IRB/IACUC approval number 
  • Acknowledgments
